Tammy Sanchez, Community Educator and Outreach Coordinator
Tammy leads community education efforts at Open Arms Advocacy Center, offering presentations, speaking engagements, and primary prevention curriculum to schools, organizations, and community groups. She is available to speak at your organization and can tailor content to meet your specific needs. Chrysanthemum Cohen, Victim Services Advocate
Chrysanthemum provides compassionate, trauma-informed support to survivors through one-on-one peer sessions, facilitation of our Women’s Sexual Assault Survivor Support Group, and assistance with a variety of individual needs. Jennie Wagner, Community Advocate
Jennie leads all of our LGBTQIA+ programs, offering peer support, educational presentations, and guidance for families and allies. She facilitates our Space To Be Me LGBTQ+ Youth Support Group, hosts our monthly LGBTQ+ Adult Mixers, and is responsible for planning our Pride Month festivities—creating safe, affirming spaces for connection, celebration, and community. Christina Barrera, Mobile Victim Services Advocate
Christina provides trauma-informed support to survivors across 10 counties—Coke, Concho, Runnels, Sterling, Irion, Reagan, Crockett, Sutton, Kimble, and Schleicher. She travels to meet clients where they are, offering peer support, resources, and personalized services. Anna S. Reyes, M.S., LPC
Anna provides professional counseling services in a safe, supportive environment. As our in-house Licensed Professional Counselor, she works with survivors of sexual violence and LGBTQ+ individuals, offering trauma-focused, affirming care tailored to each client’s unique needs. Anna is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based approach for treating trauma and PTSD. Anna can be reached at areyes@openarmscv.org
On-Call Advocates
Our on-call advocates provide compassionate support outside of regular business hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. They respond to crisis hotline calls and offer in-person medical accompaniment to ensure survivors have access to immediate care and advocacy whenever they need it.
